Painful Lump On Tricep
What is a painful lump in triceps?? I have one in my right triceps and it moves under skin. If it's a tumor, have any chance to be cancer? Please
See MD: Usually little lumps are fatty deposits called lipomas, but they may represent other problems, be seen and put your mind at ease. May be nothing but infected lymphnode, but should be seen. Good luck.
Over 50 rubbery to hard, slight painful lumps in tricep, gracilis under rib and lumbar area. Lipoma? 50lbs overweight, not visible, some are deep.
Lipomas??: Without an exam it would be difficult to say. It sounds like lipomas - fatty tumors. Some people have a few, some have a bunch. They can be removed if needed. They don't habe to be removed if it is determined that they are lipomas. See you doctor or surgeon to make sure.See 1 more doctor answer

Blocked gland?: A sebaceous cyst is a collection of oily fluid that occurs when an oil gland is blocked. Some folks are more prone to them than other and they often appear on the neck, shoulders, and back. Try to avoid skin products that are oily. I would also stay away from transfats and bad oils, which is good for overall health. Saunas and sweating may help a bit although I don't of data. Ask doc about it.See 1 more doctor answer
I have a lump on my elbow next to the elbow bone and I have an uncomfortable pain in my forearm and tricep, it doesn't look like a zit or bug bite?
Likely bursitis: You should seek evaluation by an orthopaedic surgeon or physician focusing on musculoskeletal injuries. The image shows a typical appearance of olecranon bursitis- a common condition that usually resolves with rest, ice, anti-inflammatory medications (nsaids), and brief immobilization. Aspiration is frowned upon due to increased risk of infection, but is occasionally indicated.
Muscle: It is most likely due to a muscle strain/pull if the discomfort is only near your triceps. If the pain persists or worsens follow up with a doctor for an evaluation.

Random right tricep spasms, not painful usually only 4sec. Started 3months ago after tdap booster. Doesn't seem to be going away. Doc says not to worry?
It's likely that...: ....The tdap needle struck a nerve, which is now irritated and causing spasms in the muscle to which it's attached. It will heal over time, but might take a while to heal.

Get seen now: The pain itself suggests something is badly wrong and needs to be seen. I'm a ringside physician myself and my concern is a damaged muscle.

Pain: Pain that is radiating down your arm could be from several causes. Pain radiating down your arm is always concerning for heart pain. If you have any chest pain, shortness of breath, or palpitations you would have to be seen immediately. Pain could also be coming from the spinal cord (cervical spine) and radiating down your arm. If you had any numbness, tingling, or weakness you would have to be seen immediately for that. There are other musculo-skeletal causes of pain as well. Please be seen by your doctor for a complete evaluation, but if you have the warning signs above you would have to be seen immediately.
Index and middle finger numb. Emg normal. Tricep painful when I push betwen tricep and bicep have numbness from there down arm to fingers.?
Could be C7 nerve: Tricep pain and pain in the index/middle fingers follow the c7 nerve and the EMG may have been performed too early to detect the problem. You should still have your dr. Get an MRI and look for c7 nerve root problems. If the MRI is negative but the pain persists, you may need a myelogram with post-myelogram ct of the cervical spine to look for abnormalities. A neurosurgeon should be able to help.See 2 more doctor answers
Left side only. Arm/neck/middle spine numb, painful upon waking for years. Oct. Severe left scapula, shoulder, underarm, tricep elbow forearm pain?
More testing needed: These symptoms are too vague to allow for a more detailed response. These problems are best evaluated by an orthopaedic surgeon. This will require a comprehensive physical exam and the necessary x-rays or MRI tests. Only then can a reasonable diagnosis be made.
If nonop option fail: Surgery may be indicated if attempts at nonoperative therapy have failed.
