They are the perfect environment for organisms to grow and thrive. So i would ask about the steam room as well as the health of the person undergoing detox. Probable cyst: There are a number of conditions that cause lumps and bumps to appear on the surface of the skin or just below the skin. The most common are skin cysts and epidermoid cysts (aka sebaceous cysts) which is consistent with what you are describing. Sebaceous cyst?: This is probably a sebaceous cyst that is repeatedly getting infected. Or perhaps an ingrown hair with folliculitis leading to a recurrent abscess (carbuncle, boil).
