My friend went in a steam room to detox and by earily the next morning started complaining of a painful lump in her pubic hair area, could this be from the steam room detox because she was fine before the detox?

Pea sized fleshy sort of lump on pubic area. It is underneath the skin and not painful at all, I do shave and wondering if i need to get this checked?
