I have swollen painful/itchy lumps under my armpits, mainly left hand side, following 3 weeks of long and exhausting travelling. Is it just due to fatigue?

Hydroadenitis

Hand
You should make sure that you do not have a condition known as hydroadenitis which can be provoked by using deoderants that contain aluminum. If you switch to a non aluminum formula and the problem persists you should check with your primary care provider

What could lump on palm of hand be?

Dupytrens contractur

Extremity-upper-hand
This could be the initial development of a dupytrens contracture. This is a contracture of the palmar fascia seen primarily in people of northern european descent. It is inherited, and a lump in the palm known as a dupytrens whorl can be the initial finding. Seek the advice of a hand surgeon.

Pea sized lump on palm of hand after fingertip injury?

Most not related.

Injuries
I can;t think of any reason that a fingr tip injury would cause a lump in the palm. Lumps, bumps and masses are very common in the palm and hand. You should probably see a hand surgeon for a diagnosis.

I have a small, smooth lump/bump on my palm. It isn't itchy/painful. I've had it for months. I'm an OCD hand washer and I wondered if it is from that?

No.

Hand
I don't think it is from the repeated hand washing but being OCD, it would be helpful to see your PCP to see if it is a benign lesion and do a biopsy. From your description, I would bet it is benign though. Take care.

Dr. Barry Rosen answered:

What can be causing a painful breast lump and hand/arm pain?

Coincidental?

Open-uri20121208-30486-1j1om0q
It is unlikely that you have one process responsible for both of your symptoms. Pain in your arm&hand should not be caused by a breast lump unless there is (significant) swelling in the armpit, as well. Regardless, any new breast lump warrants physician evaluation. It would be best if you saw your primary care doctor or gynecologist.
