What could lump on palm of hand be?

Dupytrens contractur: This could be the initial development of a dupytrens contracture. This is a contracture of the palmar fascia seen primarily in people of northern european descent. It is inherited, and a lump in the palm known as a dupytrens whorl can be the initial finding. Seek the advice of a hand surgeon. ...Read more

See a hand surgeon: There are many lesions that present as lumps on the palm. Most are benign, but anything that is changing in size, color or symptoms should be brought to the attention of your doctor. If you don't have a regular doctor, a hand surgeon is the type of doctor most likely to take care of this. ...Read more

Pea sized lump on palm of hand after fingertip injury?

Most not related.: I can;t think of any reason that a fingr tip injury would cause a lump in the palm. Lumps, bumps and masses are very common in the palm and hand. You should probably see a hand surgeon for a diagnosis. ...Read more

The more common : Thing in your age range is a small retinacular cust or ganglion, a fluid filled sac that comes off the joint or tendon sheath and if it is it is harmless except for the mechanical discomfort it causes. Many of these go away on their own but sometimes treatment for the larger ones can be successful with inejction/aspirtation. Surgery can also remove these. ...Read more

Hi I have a lump about the size of the Palm of your hand that lodges between my shoulder blade area it can move if manipulated till ,painful tender?

See a doctor: That's a pretty good sized lump on your back. I would recommend getting it seen by a doctor - impossible to really say what it is, but it DOES need to be seen to make sure it is not anything serious. Sometimes cysts or lipomas can appear on the back, but can only make that call after a proper exam. ...Read more

No.: I don't think it is from the repeated hand washing but being ocd, it would be helpful to see your pcp to see if it is a benign lesion and do a biopsy. From your description, i would bet it is benign though. Take care. ...Read more
