Painful Lump On Navel
Lumps: If the mass is just below the skin it is likely that they are lipomas, calcified fat deposits, which are benign. Though should be evaluated by your family doctor. These can be easily removed for definitive diagnosis and/or causing discomfort or aesthetically displeasing. ...Read more

See your doctor: Small lumps around your umbilicus are usually not worrisome, but if they are new, or enlarging, have your doctor check them out. Sometimes the fat in your lower abdomen can form benign tumors called lipomas, which are generally harmless. ...Read more
51yr male soft lump 4 in. Under navel and to right 3 in. Can feel when coughing not painful but uncomfortable seems to go away when lying on back?
Sounds like hernia.: Location is not the important tissue here, it's the size that may allow bowel to become trapped, strangulated, and die, causing peritonitis and severe problems. This should be examined to verify if indeed it's a hernia (or perhaps a benign lipoma--fatty growth outside your abdomen). Hernia needs to be repaired; lipoma can be left alone or removed--they don't "go way" and only get bigger over time. ...Read more

My 22 y/o boyfriend notice a hard lump in his lower left abdomen sometimes painful somedays it larger&harder than others & somedays his testicald hurt?
Tiny lumps under the skin can be due to several things. If these don't move about under the skin when you push on them, they are probably skin cysts. IF they are deep in the skin and feel squishy, they may be noncancerous fatty growths called lipomas. If they move about under the skin and you think they are growing, then I suggest being seen to make sure that they are not lymph nodes.

Lower left abdomen it's extremely painful when lent on or pressed. Lumps egg sized. Not constipated thanks.
Could be a hernia: The first thing that comes to mind with the above description is an incarcerated hernia, although there could be other causes as well. An incarcerated hernia is potentially, but not always a surgical emergency. It would require a hands-on examination by a surgeon to make that determination. Sometimes it requires immediate operation to prevent or treat gangrenous bowel. ...Read more
Painful golf ball sized lump when i push on my right abdomen right above my hip. Are there any special organs right there? It hurts
No special organs: Externally at the level of the skin, there are no special organs. However, if this protrudes as a lump, you have to consider a hernia or a mass in the wall of the abdomen. A hernia would be a defect in the wall of the abdomen that bowel can protrude through. This is often soft and compressible. A firm mass in the wall of the abdomen could be a tumor of some type. It is best to have it evaluated. ...Read more
