For a week now i've had a lump under my right armpit it was hurting but now it has went down but i still can feel it and its not painful at all.
LN vs abcess: It is possible this was a small abcess perhaps a sebaceous cyst which is now resolving. Then leave it alone for two weeks (so you don't irritate it), then check again. This is probably...: Probably an enlarged lymph node (which would be present if there was a local infection such as an ingrown hair). Could also be a boil (which is collection of pus under the skin). In any case, you can apply a warm compress to it 3x daily and simply watch it. It should shrink and become nontender.
