Heel spur on back of foot &below back of foot. Achilles tendinitis visible bump on the side opposite of the ankle. Been years. Pains unbearable. Help?
Sick Achilles.: Your comments sound like the findings of a previous x-ray exam. I'm not sure what is meant by "bump on the opposite side of the ankle". If it is in the Achilles tendon, then extreme pain, could make sense. It sounds as though there is something amiss with your Achilles tendon. It would make sense to immobilize the ankle, and begin non-weight bearing until tendon imaging studies can be performed ...Read more

Bone spur and Plantar fascitis in left foot from accident that fractured entire left side of body. Severe pain left outside of foot, under+behind heel.
Any diabetic with : Foot pain warrants a in person exam as there is little room for misdiagnosis. You could have sesamoiditis, a stress fracture, tendonitis etc. Any possibility of a charcot foot must be considered. You make no mention of skin integrity and this must be examined as well. Calf pain: can be several things: 1. tingling and numbness usually represent nerve pain - the sural nerve runs behind the calf muscle and could be pinched 2. the pain in the arch could be tednonitis - the posterior tibial tendon - when injured it can cause deep calf soreness and arch pain especially behind the ankle area. 3. tarsal tunnel syndrome I would suggest you see a Podiatrist or Foot & Ankle doctor ...Read more
Left foot- I have a painful lump on the inside of my heel & pain running along the outside of foot from mid foot to little toe. What is causing it?
Pain: Without a physical exam , that is extremely difficult to answer. Based on your description i would suspect infracalcaneal bursitis with peroneal tendonitis secondary to plantar fasciitis. That is speculation. Your best solution is to see your podiatrist for an exam , x rays and a diagnosis. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
