Have it checked: Clearly, anytime a lump develops, that increases in size and pain with ambulation, it needs to be checked out. I recommend surgical excision of any mass that is painful and increasing in size with time. Routinely, the specimen that is excised is sent to the pathology lab. ...Read more

Purely : Guessing I would say maybe they are plantar fibromas. However, its a pure guess as I don't see your feet, go get it checked out. ...Read more

Most likely: Plantar fasciitis is an overuse injury. Most present with pain on the first few steps in the am or after sitting for a period of time. If that is the case, treatment consists of reducing inflammation and decreasing stress.
