2days pain inner forearm from elbow bend to wrist. Hurts more with wrist extension. Not constant or nerve pain. No discolorationor obvious swelling.
Foosh with dislocated elbow & cracked radial head. Elbow is painfree, but wrist pain is severe. Unable to supinate or pronate & have hand weakness.
See hand surgeon: Elbow injuries of this type are often associated with wrist injuries...And if the elbow injury was concentrated upon, a more subtle wrist injury may have been missed. Nerve compression: My first concern would be a disk in your neck compressing nerve roots, specificantly c5-c6 but there are other things even carpal tunnel or a strain of the biceps tendon in the shoulder. Intrinsic shoulder : Joint problem, such as rotator cuff tear or frozen shoulder joint may be present. The numbness could be indeed "shoulder hand syndrome" or maybe brachial plexus issue associated with the shoulder pain. Perhaps a parsonage turner syndrome or even a thoracic outlet syndrome if symptoms worsen on arm elevation. However, sounds like a mix of joint and plexus. Needs seen: Cannot say for certain w/o exam. But absent injury/trauma, may be a tendonitis / bursitis type of inflammatory condition that is causing pain.
