Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor if the lesions are not healing. The bumps may be folliculitis, infection of hair follicles, that can occur without ingrown hair. ...Read more
I am 27 weeks pregnant and suddenly have 3-4 small skin colored non-painful bumps on mons pubis. My pap 2 mon. Ago came back normal, what are they?
Skin lesions: I would be concerned these might be viral warts - they are extremely common, and indeed can appear as flesh-colored papules in the private area. If you show them to a doctor, I think the diagnosis could be confirmed. Luckily there is good treatment for these, AND there is an HPV vaccine as well that I highly recommend getting. Since you're pregnant - hopefully you are getting good prenatal care. ...Read more

Possible STI: Painful bumps on the genitals most likely mean a sexually transmitted infection. It could be herpes, genital warts, or chancroid/bacterial infection. Bumps on Mons pubis. Latest one is from shaving and it's painful but feels like it needs to pop. Help? Also have "older" bumps that don't go away
Ingrown hair: Some times shaving will irritate the skin, and make you susceptible to infection of the hair follicle. After a follicle gets infected, it can lead to scarring and permanent bumps. For this bump that feels like it needs to pop, you may be right. Soak in a hot bath to help soften the skin, or use warm wash cloths as a compress and soften the skin. Stay clean and dry. Avoid lotions or creams. ...Read more
I have a large bump on the right side of my mons pubis it started off small and I popped it White and clear fluid came out then it grew bigger painful?
I have a single bump on top of my mons pubis. Not painful. Could one ever get herpes on this area or could it most likely be boil/ingrowni shave alot.
It depends on how it:
The bump could be a number of different possibilities. If it is painless, then it is not likely to be a boil or infection. I do not think it is herpes as that usually will cause a blister, red spots, itching or pain in the lesion.
Anything deeper requires close watch to see if it is increasing in size over 2-3 weeks. If it is over 1-2 centimeter or growing you need to have it examined by doctor. ...Read more
I shaved my mons pubis earlier today & now I have a really painful bump down there. I used to always get boils cause my skin was so sensitive.
Make sure you are using a quality razor and moisturizing shaving gel. Shaving always causes small skin openings that can become infected or the hair can become ingrown as it grows back. Moisturize everyday with good eczema cream and use light dose 1% hydrocortisone if irritated. Moist heat for now and some neosporin. See MD if worsens - don't PICK.

Many things: There are many things that can create a painless bump in the mons pubis or vulva. An inclusion cyst or blocked hair follicle can cause a painful or nonpainful bump. Time to go...:
A small recurrent tender spot might be an oil gland that's starting to get infected, or even the beginnings of something worse.
Probably the safest thing is to consult a dermatology practitioner.
Its also generally safe to kill off local skin cells etc by freezing...they sell kits to do this over the counter.
