Hi.: Hi. I cannot diagnose your bumps. You described them as being rather small. Pimples and pustules in the pubic area can sometimes be folliculitis. The hair follicles can become infected. The infected follicles can be tender and swollen. Friction of your clothes may be contributing to this. If you shave your pubic area that can also be a cause. Think about using warm moist compresses on the area. Possibly, wear some clothes that are not tight and binding in that area. Ingrown hairs: Those are ingrown hairs due to shaving too close to the skin. Modern razors are so good, they actually shave *below* the skin surface, which sets up ingrown hairs. Stop shaving, 4 now: Razor-bumps result from shaving/cutting the hair too short, thus causing the hair to get stuck under the skin causing the bumps. Basically these are trapped hair follicles. Use of some exfoliating skin lotion/cream may help the trapped hair to come through to surface and thus resolve the bumps. So, stop shaving too closely will reduce this.
