Yes: Cheilosis can be a yeast infection, but usually is a vitamin deficiency, such as b6, iron or zinc. Treatment is based on cause, so see your provider. If you are pregnant or nursing, stay on your prenatal vitamins. Avoid excess sugar, as this can tie up b vitamins.

I : I would recommend that you have this area examined by your primary care physician and/or dermatologist. Recurring areas of dry scaling on an area of skin, including the lip, should be evaluated for the possibility of having an underlying skin cancer versus a precancerous skin lesion or other common, benign condition. Unfortunately, there really is no way to know for sure without seeing your physician.

HFM: Hand foot and mouth, right. The blisters are the 'mouth' part. They're like canker sores, they can open, and bleed, but only a little. They're viral and usually resolve, without treatment, in about a week. Try something for pain. Cool things will sooth your mouth, like pudding and ice cream.

The corners of my mouth are cracked and sore, is it true that colde sores blister and eczema doesn't?

The corners of my mouth are cracked and sore, is it true that colde sores blister and eczema doesn't?

Third Possibility: It could also be angular chelitis which always occurs in the corners of the mouth. There can be many causes & like herpes & excema is made worse by periods of stress. Your dentist should be able to help determine what's going on and how best to treat it. Cold sores do generally blister or "come to a head" while eczema generally doesn't. Angular chelitis does not either.

What is this ? My hands get really dry cracks and bleed at times but then when i keep it moisturized it has very small blister bumps that itch

Possible eczema: Eczema is usually made worse by drying detergents and soap. A common place for symptoms (cracking, blisters) is the hands. Non-drying, non-soap cleansers (such as dove, etc) are very helpful, along with no contact with harsh cleansers, detergents or alcohol.

Had dental appt today and got cut/injury inside of mouth behind of lip. Bleeding is stopped but i see a blister. Does this often happen? What can I do

Had dental appt today and got cut/injury inside of mouth behind of lip. Bleeding is stopped but i see a blister. Does this often happen? What can I do

It happens: Your post did not explain how the injury occured or the circumstances behind it. Although every effort is made to prevent something like this from happening, it sometimes does. The bleeding has stopped, you are not swollen and not in pain. It most likely will heal without incident, like almost every other wound you may incur. Avoid hot or spicy foods while it heals and let the dentist monitor it.

Two creams: Try mixing an over the counter cortisone cream and anti-fungal cream in equal amounts. Applied at several times a day. If that does not work i would see a dermatologist.

My cold sore in the corner of my mouth has scabbed over & is starting to crack and bleed making the healing process take longer. Will neosporin help?

Angular cheilitis?: A sore exactly in the corner of the mouth could be oral herpes (cold sore), but more likely is angular cheilitis, a different problem. It's often due to a superficial yeast infection, and antifungal creams may help. Neosporin probably won't help much. See your doctor and take it from there. Good luck!

Help-i have redness & small blisters & cracks (burns?) from laser hair removal on face, neck & corners of mouth what should I use to heal w/o scars?

Help-i have redness & small blisters & cracks (burns?) from laser hair removal on face, neck & corners of mouth what should I use to heal w/o scars?

Ointment: It sounds like you may have some mild burns from the hair removal laser. Any cracks or blisters should be covered with antibiotic ointment and kept clean. Avoid any sun exposure until you are cleared by your treating physician to reduce any damage. The face usually recovers very quickly from this type of treatment.

My son bumped his lip a few days ago. It's still puffy, bruised and cracked and bleeding a bit. Is this normal?

My son bumped his lip a few days ago. It's still puffy, bruised and cracked and bleeding a bit. Is this normal?

Normal: Unfortunately, it's hard to give your lip "bedrest" and not use it. Every time you talk, it moves and can irritate the injury. You really do just need to give it some extra time. Having him suck on popsicles or freezy pops may help "ice" the area and reduce swelling.
