Third Possibility: It could also be angular chelitis which always occurs in the corners of the mouth. There can be many causes & like herpes & excema is made worse by periods of stress. Your dentist should be able to help determine what's going on and how best to treat it. Cold sores do generally blister or "come to a head" while eczema generally doesn't. It happens: Your post did not explain how the injury occured or the circumstances behind it. Although every effort is made to prevent something like this from happening, it sometimes does. The bleeding has stopped, you are not swollen and not in pain. It most likely will heal without incident, like almost every other wound you may incur.
