Pain Under Right Hip Bone
Hip pain under right hip bone, groin, and sometimes lower glute. Snapping if moved sometimes but not painful snapping. Young athlete and rower?
Let me explain: Rowing injuries are primarily overuse related. The knee, lumbar spine, and ribs are most commonly affected. The injury incidence is directly related to the volume of training and technique. Hip injuries also related to either overuse or wrong technique. It sound to me you developed some inflammation in that (groin).

Thanks for asking!: The area between thr right hip and the right subcostal area include a few important organs including liver gallbladder right kidney, right colon (ascendant) cecum, including appendix and in women r tube and right ovary.
Not necessarily: Osteoarthritis in the hip can be mild to severe. An x-ray is needed to determine the severity. Bone on bone implies more advanced disease, which generally would be associated with more pain. However, a patient can have less severe x-ray findings and still have daily discomfort.
I was getting of the car when I heard a snapped bone coming from my right hip. Now im in pain and limping. What happened?
Hip pain: You apparently suffered some sort of injury when exiting your car. You need to get an exam and most likely some x-ray testing to determine if you have a break, or some tendon/muscle injury, etc. Best wishes to you.See 1 more doctor answer
Usually: Usually appendicitis is a progressively worsening mid abdominal pain that gets worse in the right lower abdomen over a day or so. It is usually associated with nausea and not wanting to eat, and less common fevers. But appendicitis also can act very differently from one person to the next. You should have your doctor examine you to to be sure.
I have this pain in my back near my belt line, over my right hip, but I don't think its my hip bone?
Probably not hip: Most hip pain causes pain in the groin. Most people thing there hip is in the back of the body but it is actually in the front. Pain in the back of the body and in the buttocks is usually (but not always) related to the lower back and sometimes to the sacroiliac joint which is just below the lower back. See a physiatrist for an answer and treatment.

See an Orthopedist: If not previously evaluated by an ortho, you need to be. If these are bone tumors, that is especially serious. You need to be examined, possible investigations include x-rays, MRI and blood work.
I have a dull sharp pain above my right hip bone it comes and goes and doesn't last very long but its been happening for over a week consistently.
It's usually muscle: Strain but go see your dr for an accurate dx. Take care!
Many possibilities: You could be describing a hernia, appendicitis, ovulatory, tubal or other gynecologic problems, kidney stones, hernia, bowel problems and many other. It would depend on when it started, the progress of the pain, any fever, nausea, vomiting, abdominal distention and many other factors. I believe you should see a doctor asap for evaluation and treatment.
Maybe: Short term symptoms are not dangerous and probably normal. Anything lasting more than 2 weeks needs an exam by a doctor and evaluation.
