If it's infection you may need antibiotics. Pressure and fluid can be helped with decongestants, nasal saline to relieve sinus congestion, and ibuprofen to help the pain. OTC?: If you used the OTC drops that is why it didn't work. Those drops only PREVENT swimmers ear. Once you have the infection you need antibiotic ear drops and sometimes an oral antibiotic as well. ...Read more
