Pain Under Both Breasts
I have this annoying pain under both breasts on my ribcage thats been developing over the last few weeks. any idea what it could be?
Pleurisy: This could be something called pleurisy. It often happens after a chest infection like a cold. As the inflammation dies down, fluid is recycled back into your body. This process causes pressure and retraction on the muscles and connective tissue which is made worse on deep breaths. Try some ibuprofen, aleve, or tylenol (acetaminophen). ...Read more
Short pain under both breasts, ribs? I have tachycardia and had an echocardiogram that showed no blockages so I don't think it could be heart related
There are many: different diagnoses that can cause symptoms as you describe. The fact that you have tachycardia in association with the pain is worrisome. An echo will not show blockages unless there are associated wall motion abnormalities but your age and sex make it unlikely this is from coronary artery disease. You need a thorough evaluation with history and additional testing. See a health care provider now. ...Read more
