I am having a little bit of chest pain but pain is mainly in my left arm running down to my fingers?

Chest Pain +Diabetes: Although you are young, with a h/O Diabtes, and chest pain with radiation to the left arm, you need to go to Emergency room, and get EKG and blood for cardiac enzyme to Rule out Heart attack. Be safe than sorry. Once you rule out all organic problems, it is ok to lean on your Anxiety as a diagnosis. Be Well.

Over the last couple of weeks my husband has noticed small BB size knots running down the veins in his left arm. What could this be?

Over the last couple of weeks my husband has noticed small BB size knots running down the veins in his left arm. What could this be?

Any number of things: ...but not something that can be addressed thru Health Tap's free Q & A service. He needs to make an appointment with a doctor who can, not just obtain a history, but also see and feel these mysterious knots. Best wishes. Dr. Anne.

Is this normal or should I seek professional help? I have 3 internal (hit a vein) stitches and 16 external stitches to my left arm. I have a sensation of running blood or liquid going up and down my arm depending on the position. Is this normal?

Is this normal or should I seek professional help? I have 3 internal (hit a vein) stitches and 16 external stitches to my left arm. I have a sensation of running blood or liquid going up and down my arm depending on the position. Is this normal?

Simple : Simple answer, you had stitches put in so you should have follow up, so yes seek help.Jjsut because you had stiches in a vein and elsewhere you should know however that that feeling may not be something you noted before or may be due to swelling. Whenever you hang your arm down the veins "fill" due to gravity. Moving your hand and forearm muscles actually helps to compress the superficial or surface veins , and the veins in the muscles and aids in returing the blood back to your deeper veins and ulitmately your heart. So it "can be" normal .....But call the person you are supposed to be seeing for follow up and talk to them. If you dont have a follow up visit call the place where the stitches were put in and ask where to go.

I have very visible flat blue veins in running from the underside of my top left arm to the bottom, they seem more visible than ever before.Concerned?

Should not be: concerned unless you have symptoms of venous occlusion farther down the arm. Increased varicose or large caliber veins usually mean venous insufficiency, or poor venous circulation, away from the heart. Unless you have been muscle building, which also increases venous return and therefore superficial vein size, you need to pay attention to symptoms of venous clot.

What would cause congestion a cough a fever running back wards and left arm to hurt them and a lfeeling like there chocking?

Many things: A fever running backwards? I think you need to check with your doctor to check labs, look at your throat, listen to your chest, possibly with chest xray. I would need more information to narrow this down.

Herniated Disc : Your symptoms are consistent with a herniated disc in your neck, specifically the 6th cervical nerve. You need to be evaluated by an orthopedica surgeon.

Exercised biceps today. Later got Charlie horse in left arm.Bad pain subsided but arm still hurts, running through hand. Can this be heart related?

Not likely: Given your history of working your biceps today, and you're 27, it's not likely that it's your heart. If you are very concerned, though, this is something that would have to be evaluated in person. Best of luck!

See your DR: L arm pain in females is concerning. This could be MuscSkel, but one needs to insure it is not cardiac in origin. Females frequently have much different symptoms with heart problems then males do. Suggest you see your DR.
