Throat: Can be a pharyngitis, which can be strep or viral in nature. Also, can be from a drip in the back of the throat. If no improvement in 1-2 days then get it checked out. Try some Advil (ibuprofen) for the pain and drink plenty of fluids. ...Read more

I think you should: Ask your hotel desk/concierge for their house doctor or a referral to an Urgent Care type center. Your heart rate is rapid and with a fever and myalgias (the aching), you could have a strep throat/something else requiring treatment. At a minimum the doctor can advise you of supportive care. Presuming you are flying back to the US, you don't want to board the plane for such a long flight when ill. ...Read more
