ER: Hopefully, this is just a bruise, may be related to trauma or sexual activityu; however, you must be checked and evaluated in the ER or local UC clinic.

How long will a hpt be + if ectopic preg? Had what thought miscarriage 3 weeks ago. Now having pain in right side, pelvis, rectum?

How long will a hpt be + if ectopic preg? Had what thought miscarriage 3 weeks ago. Now having pain in right side, pelvis, rectum?

Variable: A pregnancy test can remain positive for up to six weeks even after a completed miscarriage. It depends upon how far along the pregnancy was and the level of HCG (the pregnancy hormone that produces a positive pregnancy test) in the blood. Ectopic pregnancy HCG levels do not continue to fall week to week so if worried, women may want to consider a weekly level of hcg.

Dull pain on right side of pelvis-implantation?

Dull pain on right side of pelvis-implantation?

Rule out appendix: Any pain in the lower right side needs evaluation. This is the area of the appendix and can be an emergency. Remember though, most cases of right lower pain will not end up being appendicitis. See you doctor soon for evaluation. If you have fever, nausea or vomitting then this needs to be evaluated in an er now.

I'm 36 years old I been having stabbing pain on right side of pelvis? What can this be.

Many things: Unfortunately without more specifics or having the chance to examine you, this pain could be related to many different problems. It could be related to your appendic (like appendicitis), ovarian cysts, tubal infection, pregnancy!, right sided colon issues and even a kidney infection. If the pain is severe or you are having nausea, vomiting, fevers or blood from anywhere please seek urgent help.

Experiencing pain on right side of pelvis. Have had mirena (levonorgestrel) for over a year?

Experiencing pain on right side of pelvis. Have had mirena (levonorgestrel) for over a year?

IUD check: In these cases I recommend scheduling a follow-up visit for an iud check. This will allow the doctor to confirm that the iud is in the right location. They could also check you for ovarian cysts. If you are done having children consider changing to essure. This is a very effective in office procedure which will permanently prevent pregnancy and eliminate the side effects of mirena (levonorgestrel).

Can u miscarriage if ur tubes tied r will the baby live...And haveing pain n my right side pelvis?

Can u miscarriage if ur tubes tied r will the baby live...And haveing pain n my right side pelvis?

Yes; might; go to ER: Yes, you could fertilize an egg, although very rare, and thus miscarry--or have intrauterine implantation and carry to term--or have extra-uterine implantation and have an ectopic pregnancy--which causes one-sided pain and is potentially life threatening if not addressed early. Need urgent gyn or er eval and ultrasound to assess.

Severe pain on right side of pelvis Hurts more with movement. Could it be ovarian cyst acting up.

Right sided pain: Relatively small "ovarian cysts" always precede ovulation, and with ovulation (release of the egg and rupture of the follicle cyst) pain on the side of ovulation, or even an enlarging ovarian cyst which stretches the ovarian capsule can cause pain. If it persists, see your healthcare provider.

slight pain on right side of pelvis, the pain comes and goes. It also sometimes affects my right thigh, recently had a miscarriage but no period yet?

Pelvic pain: Pelvic pain is complex as there are several organs in the pelvis. The ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, bladder, appendix, intestines, colon and rectum can all be the source. Pelvic pain requires and examination to help organize the evaluation.

I have a pressure pain on right side of my pelvis area what can it be?

I have a pressure pain on right side of my pelvis area what can it be?

Pelvic Pain: Abdominal pain in the inguinal region (low anterior pelvis) in females can be due to inflammation related to ovulation, usually 12-14 days from the last period. In males, discomfort can be due to an abdominal wall defect or inguinal hernia but is usually associated with a tender lump or pain on straining. Hip pain can also be referred to this area in both men and women. Get examined if concern.

I'm having pain in my front right side pelvis area. It's inside and near my pelvis bone but isn't the bone?

Tough to say: There are many possible causes of pain in that area, including but not limited to Ovarian, Uterine, Bladder, possible Musculoskeletal conditions, etc. Etc. Best for you to see a Doctor and get an evaluation to best determine the cause of your pain and then the best treatment can occur. Good luck, get well soon.

I have fibriods in and outside my womb I am now having pain in my right side of pelvis when I move?

May need surgery: If the fibroids are causing pain or heavy bleeding, you may need to consider a hysterectomy. If you can be patient, though, often time fibroids shrink as you go through menopause. You might try to stick it out for now, and hopefully it will get better. Taking a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory medication like ibuprophen can help.

Ask: Your obstetrician who did your surgery and would have looked at your pelvic organs may know. An US may help by looking at your uterus and ovaries. All the best.

I have pretty severe pain in my pelvis (right side only). Its made worse after intercourse. What could this be? We have been trying to conceive.

Pelvic pain: Certainly requires an internal exam to check for infection, cuts, tears or scrapes from intercourse. Prolonged foreplay will stimulate vaginal secretions and your partners seminal fluids- no downside there, since vaginal dryness can cause pain. Hint: try changing sexual positions until you find the one which is most comfortable-your partner will be inspired! :)
