I had sex on the feb 8, 3 days after I felt little sharp left ovary pain, my period are 1 day late, could i be pregnant?
Too Soon: You had sex after the fertile period. It is very unlikely that you are pregnant. It is extremely unlikely to have a fertile egg still available for pregnancy five days before an expected period, especially given that it takes some time for the sperm to swim to the ovary. If you still do not have a period in a few days then it may be time to do a pregnancy test. Five days is too soon. ...Read more

I have a strong pain on my right ovary. Period is due in 4 days. Pain goes through my butt cheek and then travels down my leg, what could it be?
Right pelvic pain: This pain may reflect an ovarian cyst, which may have ruptured (common) and should resolve quickly (1-3 days). If it doesn't resolve, you will need a pelvic ultrasound to confirm if there is a cyst and what kind of cyst. The pain could also reflect ovulation, but that is usually anywhere from day 12-16 of menses (avg is day 14) but shouldn't radiate down you leg and pain is that day only. ...Read more

If yes, do a pregnancy test to make sure you are not pregnant. If negative pregnancy test, you can attribute to anovulation (or irregular periods due to lack of regularity with release of egg from your ovary). If this persists, see your GYN who may be able to help regulate your cycle Best wishes

Possibly: Ovaries can enlarge at mid- cycle when there is ovulation as an ovulatory cyst can form that may not subside until after the period. If you are worried your doctor can do an ultrasound, as that is what I do on any of my patients who complain of ovarian or pelvic pain to r/o a cyst (there are many differnet types of cysts) or fibroids or other causes. ...Read more

If your period still come on time after havin an ovary removed does that still mean your ovulating?
Still have 1 ovary?:
If you still have one ovary and uterus intact, your period should be as usual for you, and yes you should still be ovulating unless postmenopausal. One ovary is enough to make all the hormones you need to have a regular period, but the number of ova (eggs) is reduced to half.
