See your PCPC: The stomach flu is caused by a virus that attacks your gastrointestinal system. There is no cure for the stomach flu. The remedies are: good rest, plenty of fluids intake, plain food like crackers, cereal, toast and rice. Take NSAID over the counter and tincture of time. Muscle spasm: Upscale spasm of the abdominal wall (or muscle strain, tear, etc.) can ALS be a cause. Sometimes people will even feel a bulge which sounds like a hernia, but may in fact be the contracting muscle. Usually the area is manually massaged, and there is pain relief after a few minutes. A ct scan should be able to tell the difference, but it is very unlikely to be a hernia in that area. Try aspercreme. ...Read more
