This is an unusual: symptom; these phenomena would not usually occur together. The main thing that might cause this is a TMJ (temporomandibular joint) problem. This jaw hinge joint commonly can get a little "out of whack" and not function properly. Taking anti-inflammatories (ibuprofen, etc), applying ice or heat are first steps.
