What is the main cause of persistant pain in the front of the knee below the knee cap felt strongest w/twisting and foot back farther than knee?
PAF: Patellofemoral syndrome would be my first thought. Patella stabilizing brace or strap and Phys Therapy program to strengthen the VMO of the quads can be helpful along with modifying exercise to avoid aggravation.
