Son has on/off pain on right side (back, hip, knee, thigh) for about 1 yr. rarely severe, can limit his activity. Has hypotonia. Is a lefty. Cause?

A single underlying: genetic or other medical cause of his ASD & hypotonia should be looked for. Lax or weak ligaments & joints often accompany low tone, decreased resistance to passive movement in muscles. When the "pulley system" of the pelvis & lower extremities is not aligned, pain can occur on standing or moving.
