Pelvic pain: Many different things can give you those symptoms. Diverticulitis, colitis, colon polyps, adhesions/obstruction, ovarian cysts, less likely cancers can all give you left pelvic pains. If this is recurrent or has lasted more than a couple days i would see a surgeon or gynecologist asap. Fluid and fiber: Foods high in fat tend to constipate you. Foods high in fiber favor looser stools. Fruits vegetable, whole grains are excellent sources of fiber. Also, fiber only works if u are well hydrated. Drink plenty of non-caffinated, non-alcoholic fluids to keep stools soft. Fiber can also be added to a glass of water. No way to...: There is no way to tell until you get the appropriate tests for your symptoms. First of all if you suspect you might be pregnant get a pregnancy test. Ovarian cancer is far less common than pregnancy so it is not one of the first things to consider unless you have had a diagnosis of this sort in the past.
