Cymbalta (duloxetine): Cymbalta is a good option for neuropathy because it works on the peripheral nerves by a different pathway than Lyrica (pregabalin) or Neurontin (gabapentin). Muscle relaxants: Lyrica (pregabalin) is more of a nerve blocking agent for treatment of the fibromyalgia. Yes but not always: Any medication that affects the central nervous system can definitely affect memory, and in that Lyrica (pregabalin) qualifies.
