Why does the outside of my leg hurt, especially when i stand on my tiptoes? Haven't done anything out of the ordinary. I have had this pain more than once, never lasts more than a few days. It's not my calf and not my ankle. Definitely on the outer part o
You : You seem to be referring to the peroneal muscles, which help with the motion of standing on your tip-toes. I can't give you an official diagnosis over the internet, but it almost sounds like you're straining your peroneal muscles. You might be best to see a podiatrist who can perform a biomechanical examination on you to determine if there is some sort of structural thing in your feet or legs that is causing your peroneals to be overused. Some specific stretching exercises might help, and if this becomes a chronic thing, some kind of orthotic worn in the shoes may also help. Hope this helps. Good luck! ...Read more

Started having pain in my right leg about 4 weeks ago. Went from calf, to ankle area, then buttock, then inside thigh. Went away and restarted on thig?
Right sciatica: Leg pain radiating to thigh/ankle/calf may be coming from a 'pinched nerve' in the lumbar (lower) spine. Pain can come/go depending upon the degree of nerve compression. An MRI scan will be able to show exactly which nerve is affected. The most important warning signs are leg weakness and change in bladder/bowel function. Development of these signs warrants an immediate visit to a physician. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Many factors : It sounds as if you might have achilles bursitis. A bursa acts as a cushion and lubricant between tendons/muscles that slide over bone. The retrocalcaneal bursa is located in the back of the ankle by the heel and forms a cushion between the large achilles tendon which connects the calf muscles to the heel bone. There is also a syndrome known as achilles tendinitis. Please see your orthopedist. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Quite possible.: If no history of injury like a sprain, tendonitis, an overuse syndrome could be the cause. Need to try rest, elevation, compression bandage, and icing it.
