In a particular position there is severe pain in the back. Above left hip area. How should it be treated?
Diagnosis first: Posterior (back) hip pain is rarely from the hip. The area of pain you're describing could be radicular or sciatica (e.g. Pinched nerve in the back), referred pain from the back (e.g. Facetogenic pain), priformis syndrome, si joint dysfunction, cluneal nerve entrapment, iliolumbar ligament enthesopathy, etc. You really should see a doctor for an accurate diagnosis & proper diagnosis.
I have a quarter size what looks like a rash, on the left side of my hip. For about a month, I have had pain inside my body, below this area.

I'm a athlete. Always have pain in my left hip. The pain is on the outermost part of my hip and by the groin area at times. Hip isn't that flexible.
Multiple causes: Your pain could be due to overuse injuries to your adductor (groin) muscles, and your it band (outside part of hip/side of leg) your groin pain could also be due to an injury to the bumper inside your hip called the labrum. I would recommend an evaluation by a sports medicine (either primary care or orthopedic) specialist if this is a longstanding problem.
Have a pain in my left hip area which hurts when I go up hills & up steps. Was resting and using ice. Thought it was better, went for a walk & it's n?
Things to consider: Considering you sex and age, you are at a higher risk of developing osteoporosis (weak bones) and osteoarthritis (inflammation, degeneration of joints). Other causes include muscular sprain, tendon injury, ligament strain, referred pain from nerve impingement, cyst formation in the pain area, and sometimes pelvic pathology. See your doctor, a simple x-ray or an ultrasound will be of great benefit.
Hip pain: At your age it has to be some degree of tendinitis or hip flexor strain. Stretch it and look them up online for easy stretches to do for the problem. If it persists she a doc to rule out more significant problems.

I'm getting a lot of pain in left hip& pelvic area especially at nite from lying in that side, what could be causing this? Thanks
It could be anything: Arthritis frequently hurts at night. One problem is that many people talk about the hip but point to their buttock. That is not hip pain but back pain. So the answer depends on examining and figuring out where it actually hurts. After that one can direct the apporpriate work up. Arthritis is very unlikely due to young age. Likely a back related thing but can't tell wihout more info.See 1 more doctor answer
I have pain in lower left side around hip area it has now traveled to my left thigh the pain is getting stronger and becoming more frequent?
Radiculopathy: It sounds like a nerve root in your lower back spine is "being pinched", also called "disc disease", it may also been spinal stenosis. Suggest to be evaluated before it gets worse. Of course other reasons also are possible, like a " mass compressing on a nerve".Please consult your doctor, don't treat yourself.See 1 more doctor answer
Pain for several days on left towards back of where leg meets lower hip area and pain getting worse and feels like leg is about to give out. Causes?
Hard to say: Many things can cause pain and weakness. Much more history is needed as well as an exam to be able to answer that well. It could be muscular such as a strain, or bone from trauma, or even infection. With several days of pain and a sense of giving out, it is time to be seen!
I've had a pain in my lower left back side but last night it moved to my lower part of my pelvic area by my hip it was a sharp pain and hurt very bad?

Last week I had a terrible pain on my left side above my hip in the muscle area. I was diagnosed havin a pulled soft tissue muscle. It still hurts...
Takes time: Tearing tissues involves bleeding and damage to surrounding tissues from swelling and the influx of inflammatory cells. This may take weeks to months to fully resolve. Be patient and be careful.

Many possibilities: Hard to say with such vague symptoms as many GI and non-gi conditions can cause discomfort in this area. Best to be formally seen an evaluated.
8 DPO I have an annoying pain in my left hip area and tired ovulated on the 17/6 had sex on 16/7 17/6 any suggestions could it be implantation?
Not likely: Implantation around ovulation time should not cause pain in the hip or pelvis region. It would be early to feel the symptoms of pregnancy at this time, so I suspect that your fatigue is probably not due to pregnancy. However, if you have missed a menses, then it is possible that your symptoms could be due to pregnancy.
