Follow up with doc: This obviously is not normal. I recommend you follow-up with your surgeon or get a 2nd opinion. Doubtful: Unless you have congenital spinal stenosis the odds of having spinal stenosis at your age are unlikely without any prior history of lumbar problems such as spondylolisthesis.
