Everything is connected: There are fascial connections between the head all the way down the spine to the sacrum. Then there's further attachments between the sacrum to the legs. Mm tension HA, but..: This could be a muscle tension type headache, often caused by stress. But please read my prior answers regarding headache to more thorough discussion of difficulty in dx, etc. 'sharp', unilateral, sudden onset, doesn't sound like muscle tension. Physician Visit: It doesn't immediately sound like it has to do with an anxiety disorder, but it might be related. It does seem like something you should check out with a physician though, it could be something serious that you can get treatment for. Sharp stabbing pain in the right side of my head. Started last friday ( 1/18) out of nowhere. Changes in intensity, but does not stop. Any ideas?

More information: Need more specifics. Where exactly is the pain and is there tenderness to touch. See doctor: The two may not be related. I think nosebleeds this time of year are caused by irritation of the nose from allergy. Sinus infection could cause both symptoms. If not releived by acetominophen and pinching your nose, i'd go see an ent, where a good nasal exam can be done. ...Read more
