Depends: If i knew what type of scan you had i could be a little more specific. One of the more common causes for this type of pain (among multiple other things that still need to be considered) include musculoskeletal which would not necessarily show any abnormality on labs or certain types of scans. Other etiologies: Fatty liver disease usually does not cause abd pain. I would be more concerned that something else is going on. There is a broad differential including both GI and non-gi causes of this pain. One needs to consider pancrea-biliary, luminal and renal sources for the pain.
