Pain In The Palm Of Left Hand
Tendon Inflammation: There are multiple causes of finger/joint pain. Given your age and no history of trauma, nor arthritic problems, the most likely cause is a trigger finger or tendonitis (swollen tendon). Ask yourself, ifyour pain is on the back of the knuckle, worse in the morning, and painful with flexing the finger, and if there is tenderness in the palm over the tendon. A hand surgeon can help make diagnosis. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Numbness has developed in the tip of my left index finger and includes very slight numbness on the top of the finger near the largest knuckle, also.
While often: the numbness of carpal tunnel syndrome is felt in the middle fingers, if only a few nerve fibers are being compressed at the wrist, you might only feel it in your left finger tip. A band of tissue can compress (usually from swelling due to overuse/injury) the nerves that run through the tunnel to the hand.Reduce aggravating activity; try a wrist splint at night for a week or two. I have pain on the top of my left foot in the muscle areas of the foot toward the small toe about half of the foot
Like : Like with no many questions asked here, there is too little information to give you a proper answer or guide you in the right direction. How long has this pain been present? Ulnar neuritis: Sounds like you have irritation of the ulnar nerve. It is very sensitive by the inner posterior aspect of your elbow ….:your funny bone….. Get it checked if it does not improve. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Any known reason?: If a person has new, weird symptoms and sensations up and down only one side of the body, and has no known reason for it, he can be evaluated at the er (or call his primary care doctor if the doctor is available). Numbness/light pain in my left pinky and ring fingers, and side of hand. Maybe spreading elsewhere in hand. Fear of motor neuron disease.
Don't think so: Hi. What you're describing would be a sensory neuropathy, and given the distribution (ulnar nerve), I suspect it's a physical problem ,not metabolic. Motor neuron disease (aka ALS) only affects nerves to muscles, and leaves sensory nerves alone. I'm not a neurologist, but I feel safe in assuring you this is not motor neuron disease. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
