Your symptoms: are a bit confusing since the LOCATION is CLASSIC for Spinal Stenosis ( Degenerative arthritis lumbar spine) but the RELIEF with walking is usually NOT the case( pain of spinal stenosis usually worsens with walking In any case you can try HEAT ICE and ALTERNATING HEAT/ICE Whatever helps..but get it checked out! Sacrum pain?: If you put your hands on your hips, and touch your thumbs together, if the pain is below that it may be from sacroiliitis. This is a connection between the pelvic bones and the lower spine. It has to tighten when you go from sitting to standing.
