Dull neck pain in the back of the neck on the right side where shoulder meets. Sharp pain when swallowing in that area.
See a physician: This may be something as simple as a rib that is out place, but with a sharp pain during swallowing, i would recommend seeing a physician and having an examination, possibly imaging to make sure something more serious is not occurring. Upper back and L sid: There are many potential causes: herniated cervical or thoracic discs vs localized muscle strain vs facet joint irritation vs referred pain in particular from abdomen/diaphram which refers pain into shoulder/upper back.
