NCV: A MRI is the standard imaging test but a nerve conduction velocity/ EMG is probably the most sensitive test for nerve impingement. A good physical examination combined with your history will go a long way as well. See a medical professional. ...Read more

SIJ: Mid-30's fem c/o chronic unilateral anterior thigh pain; especially on sleep surface. This sx pattern compatible w. pain radiation from pelvic girdle, a bony ring, as ground force of sleep surface translates around ring to loosest sacroiliac joint; whereat ligament strain elicits pain generation.
