Pain In The Ball Of The Foot And Second Toe
I was sitting down drawing then I went to move my left foot toes and then all of the sudden I couldn't feel my second toe, couldn't move it?
See below: The pressure from the way you where sitting may have put pressure on nerve to the 2nd toe and caused it to fall asleep.
Have it checked out: Severe pain on the top of the foot feeling like a charlie horse is not a common finding. Your recent activity history, how much your run or walk for exercise can affect this. If it's acute and relieved by pain meds, then that's not as much a problem as if it's been continuous without relief. Best is to have it checked out by your doctor to see what the exam shows, and to know for sure what it is.
What can I do if my second toe on my right foot is bigger than my second toe on my left foot. Help?
It's not a problem: I don't think help is needed unless the toe is in pain.
What is the overall length of my foot is 23 cm, the length of my second toe is 5 cm. Is there an anatomical standard for this comparison?
Standard: I have to agree with dr beresh. There is no standard.See 1 more doctor answer
The second toe on left foot has been swollen more than 6 months. There has been no injury to it. Is this a symptom of some other health problem?
Possible: Could be a circulatory or arthritic condition. Also can be due to excessive shoe pressure. See podiatrist.
I have pain in second toe when walking and it hurts on top of my foot, and painful to bear weight on foot?
My second toe on my left foot is numb and hurts. This has been going on for a few weeks now. What would cause this?
You could have: A localized nerve compression like a neuroma, or anterior tarsal tunnel syndrome (compression of deep peroneal nerve). If the second toe is the longest toe your shoes can be too small. There are systemic disease like diabetes that can cause numbness, and vitamin deficiencies as well.
Second toe on right foot numb at top of toe, I do occasionally wear wedges, what could cause this, and how to help it?
Nerve compression: Depending on the heel height, your foot can slide forward even in a wedge and in some cases can keep pressure at the top/tip of the 2nd toe. This pressure can create nerve compression and cause numbness. To alleviate this you can try a lower heel or consider use of a ball of the foot pad just behind the ball of the foot to restore the transverse arch. You can also see a podiatrist for options.See 2 more doctor answers
