As of 2-3 weeks ago, i've felt and heard my achilles' tendon snap almost daily. The noise is a bit as if snapping fingers. It doesn't hurt when it snaps, but i did feel pain in the area for a few days?

Many possibilities: There are many possible causes of the pain in that location. It could be bursitis which is an inflammation of a cushioning sac behind your achilles. It could be achilles tendinitis as well. There is also a bone in that location, called the os trigonum, that can get inflamed an cause pain. Can one palpate the peroneal artery or is it below superficial muscle? Does it run on out side of the Achilles tendon? I feel something hard in area.
