Quite likely: Increase fluid intake; add fiber to diet (either fiber-rich foods or fiber supplements like metamucil/citrucel/ fiberchoice). Use stool softener not laxative to help get things moving. Remember that fiber without adequate fluid will constipate; it's the combo of fiber and fluid that does the job. May be long-term affair if chronic problem or if u take meds that constipate.
