Check it: I agree with dr. T. Hopefully your pain is due to arthritis or other bone-joint issues but pain in a cancer patient (particularly if always on the same spot or if worsens with time) should be properly evaluated to rule out metastases. ...Read more

Not likely.: Ovarian cancer is a disease that can be asymptomatic, and/or show nonspecific findings, like increased abdominal girth/size. Other tests must be done to be sure. The three tests done are transvaginal ultrasound, physical exam of the pelvis, and a ca-125+/- other markers blood test. Tailbone pain is more likely to be from sitting for a long time and/or injury.
