I am having Pain/numbness in right pinky and ring finger and feels warm to touch when I massage it or apply ice ?
I have swelling and sharp pain in my right finger and pinky, rheumatologist suggested arthritis, but it's not symmetrical in left hand. And I'm 33.
Arthritis caused: Can still be arthritis from osteoarthritis affects certain hand joints or old trauma
Simple clinodactaly: When pinky fingers are turned slightly toward the middle of the hand, the term used is clinodactaly. When examined under x-ray, there is an angulation to the middle segment of that finger. It is a benign and potential inheritable process. It occurs in normal people and sometimes in higher frequency with certain syndromes.See 1 more doctor answer
Evolution: It is hard to say genetically why the ones with shorter pinkies survived and not the other way around. But going back to species before us, it was that way. Just looking at my hand, I 'd rather have it that way and not the other way as the prehensile activity looks better and it would just look weird, don't you think?
See below: This is a problem that necessitates a face-to-face meeting with your doctor. This will allow him/her to examine you, ask specific questions. And possibly order tests to find out what's wrong and what to do to help you.
? Trigger finger: Several things can cause painful triggering of a finger. The most common is a so called, "trigger" finger where your flexor tendon enlarges and can no longer slide smoothly through a tunnel at the base of your finger. Less common is a snapping extensor tendon or ligament. Try splinting the finger straight for a few weeks, if this does not help get it checked out.
See a hand surgeon: Stabbing a finger can be a potentially worse injury than it seems. There are numerous structures (tendons, nerves, blood vessels, joints and ligaments) all in a very small space. Probably best to see a hand surgeon to assess the injury and also make sure that there is no ongoing infection as that can also be quite painful in the finger.

I've cut or punctured my lower pinky finger on the inside and now it feels like there's anI'm not quite sure how I got the wound as it was from a fall?
Clean wound: First of all scrub it clean with a clean/wet/soapy wash cloth. Then rinse well with clean water. Pat the wound dry with a clean wash cloth/gauze/ tissue/ paper towel. Then apply antibiotic ointment or aloe juice or coconut oil as antiseptic. Then place a sterile dressing over the wound till it is healing well. You can use a band aid or sterile gauze, secured by Coban type stretchy tape that only.
Cubital tunnel syn.: Though it can be neck or shoulder in origin this most likely represents a pinched nerve at your elbow. Try not leaning on your elbow and wrapping it in extension at night. If not successful I would see me or someone like me. (orthopedic/hand surgeon) hope this helps.See 1 more doctor answer
