Moderate to severe sharp pain in pit of stomach. Omeprazole and tylenol (acetaminophen) not helping. No nausea, vomiting or any other symptoms. What could it be?
Every time I try to eat I get real nauseated and the feeling lasts from anywhere to a hour to all day. Nausea and discomfort at pit of stomach.

It seems like no matter what I eat, I get indigestion or acid like feeling in the pit of my stomach and I also get bad nausea.

Sudden GI symptoms.: This could be one of a few things. Could be the beginnings of a viral infection or food borne illness. Could be a gallbladder issue, like gallstones or infection. Besides the stomach problems, you could have serious dehydration or electrolyte problems and need to see a physician or at least video conference. Dizzy and bloating: You may have a virus causing your bloating and nausea but if you are having other symptoms such as fever or severe diarrhea you should see a doctor asap about it. I would also check a pregnancy test to make sure you are not pregnant especially if you missed a period or are late. Drink plenty of fluids and try to rest of course. Acid indigestion: This is concerning for acid indigestion. Try some Tums / Maalox if this relieves your symptoms you may need to follow up with your doctor to be started on an antacid regimen. Nausea: Without any detail, it is impossible to pinpoint the cause. If it is new onset nausea, just cut back your diet to liquids for a few days.
