Pain In Palate Behind Front Tooth
What can a discomfort behind front left tooth in the palate be? Had CT scans and x-rays down and it doesn't show anything. Pain radiates ear & neck.
Two issues?: One of your front teeth can be non-vital or going non-vital without showing that with any imaging technique. See an endodontist to evaluate the vitality and health of your upper front teeth. The radiating pain is likely not associated with the pain on the front tooth. Further testing is warranted and cannot be done over the internet. ...Read more

Ongoing care: You didn't mention if you were in ongoing dental care, but if you had a serious enough condition to warrant treatment which resulted in an extraction, it's likely you have other conditions present that are causing your current pain. You may well have serious conditions, also, that are not painful, but you need to be in good, ongoing dental care to diagnose (and prevent further) these problems. ...Read more
The tooth next to my top front tooth has had infection on@of 4 3yrs and givin pain in my palate y as sorness@pain been in the palate? Havin it out now
;Pain: The infection will find the path of least resistance to drain the area and in your case it is the palate. The pain is from the pressure building up and having no where to go. Think of the pain as pressure building up in a volcano, the eruption is the pressure being relieved (bump on tissue) and the drainage (puss) is the lava. ...Read more

How long can you have an tooth abcess for without not much swelling, I have had mine for 3yrs causin redness on front gums@pain side palate?
Tip of the iceberg!: While you have been lucky (actually unlucky!) for not having much swelling, what is probably going on inside your jaw is a serious infection destroying bone and possibly effecting other teeth either now or in time. I have personally seen patients with large untreated infections and infected cysts become permanently numb and lose teeth from letting these types of infections go untreated. ...Read more

Not unusual: This is not that unusual but if the area is throbbing or you have fever or the chills a visit to the surgeon may be indicated to check for infection. Warm salt water rinses and more healing time might help as well. If there are stitches they can be an irritant until removed. Time heals all wounds, but not in the presence of infection!
