I am a 35 year old male and having intermittent sharp pain in my right pelvic area just had it for couple hours now. What could be the problem?
Hard to say: In the lower abdomen, sharp pain without other significant symptoms usually indicates bowel stretch such as due to gas or constipation or something in the abdominal wall such as a hernia or muscle strain. UTI symptoms, pain in my right pelvic area. Ultrasound from GYN: kidney stone at junction of ureter and reflux in kidneys. Cant see Uro for 1 mo. Bad?
Bad to the "stone": The pain is the kidney stone getting stuck and unstuck like a ball valve at the narrow juncture of the ureter entry into the bladder. Cyst?: Could be an ovarian cyst. If there is any chance of pregnancy then you need to take a test and if pregnant go to Emergency to be evaluated for possible ectopic pregnancy.
