Possibly cardiac: Pain could be due to heart attack. It's absolutely worth seeing a physician immediately depending on your age (>25). You should have an immediate ecg, which can tell if your heart is affected. If the ECG is normal, you could still be having a problem with your heart though. ...Read more

Few things: Straining muscles involved with typing by keeping them in wrong position instead of relaxed hands and wrist cocked slightly at wrist, and not 29 inches off the ground sitting on a proper chair. See the doctor: I am not sure abt your other medical problems, but this pain can be nerve impingement causing pain going down to your left arm and hand. OR it can be more serious condition. You are very young, but sometimes pain of heart attack can be similar to this pain. It can be associated with Difficulty breathing, lightheadness , dizziness , nausea and raise in heart rate. Unlikely: Heart attack is unlikely for you as you are a young female unless you would have other conditions such as severe dm, rheumatologic autoimmune diseases or preexisting childhood heart disease.
