Can i rest my back or is there exercises i can do to stop this pain in my lower back and leg muscles?
Depends: If its an acute problem rest and alternate heat and cold as tolerated. If its chronic muscle strengthening may be helpful to prevent future problems. See a doc or physical therapist to get specifics.You need to make sure you dont have a ruptured disc before doing any therapy. You : You could have a cord compression or myelopathy but this is not very common. This type of problem is more common with pinched nerves to the low back.
