Most likely hip: If pain happens with walking, getting out of the chair or bed, walking up flight of stairs then it is most likely hip OA. Other things that could be present is limping after long walking. If your overweight, then this is more likely. Possible disc troubl: You possibly have some lumbar/low back disc disease which could be impinging on a nerve root which causes pain to your leg(s). At times, non-discogenic but severe low back pain can radiate to your buttocks and upper legs, but if symptoms down to knee or below, it is likely from a disc problem.
