Don't Assume : Could be one of many things. Most likely it is what is called myofascial/musculoskeletal which should be reassuring. The fact that it hurts with sitting only is reassuring that more sinister issues not likely. However, the abbominal pain is a bit concerning with the back pain. A lot of pain in lower back and abdomen! Pain is off and on. Been this way for 3 weeks. Pain 8-9! Take ib and tylenol (acetaminophen) with heating pad! No other sympt?

Back problem or: Hernia. You could have a disc problem in your back. That would show up on an mri. It could radiate into the abdomen and testicles and could occur after lifting a heavy load. A hernia could mimic those symptoms also. ...Read more

U can go to : An urgent care which is more economical than going to er. I suspect muscle strain causing your lower back, and your left lower abdominal pain could be from inflammation of your intestine, fallopian tube, ovarian cyst, infection of your ureter, a sign of stone in the urinary tract etc. Only your dr can give u an accurate diagnosis. Possibly: Obviously you are concerned about it. Without knowing the entire history and being able to examine you cannot begin to predict a diagnosis, but you should definitely be examined and possibly undergo imaging studies if your doctor feels these may be revealing. Could transvag US, spinal x-ray, and spinal MRI miss tumor in lower rt abdomen? Have pain in lower back, hip, abdomen & no cause found & getting worse

Yes: An abdominal/ pelvic CT or MRI would give more definitive information if you are concerned about tumor in abdomen and pelvis. Causes for lower back/hip pain are more definitely identified with these same tests. ...Read more
