Spasm /muscles tight: there are a lot of possibilities. These include muscle spasm, Radiculopathy, hamstring strain amongst others. You should see a PMR doctor or neurologist who can perform the appropriate imaging including a lumbar & knee MRI and consider an EMG which evaluates nerve and muscle function. In the meantime continue a healthy diet with fruits and vegetables for adequate minerals and vitamins.PT will help ...Read more

Advice: First, find an experienced physiatrist, perhaps at a local medical school. Secondly uncover your diagnosis, as your problems are very unlikely caused by your foraminal issues.
