Pain In Legs And Arms Causes
Sharp pain in buttock, changes sides also intermittent pain in legs, feet and neck/arms. What could cause this? My Dr says is virus. How can I treat?
22 yo female, random muscle twitches mostly in legs, but in eyelids and arms as well. Intermittent mild pain in legs as well. What could cause this?
Need 2 have baseline: Lab tests done to see if you are nutritionally depleted & evaluate UR food intake, or possible food allergies. Eyelid twitching is benign (myokymia)& a result of fatigue. So are you sleeping enough? You seem to have bowel issues - taking mag. Citrate, fleets enema, and no appetite and diarrhea. This is huge! Work with an integrative doctor and get your electrolytes balanced! Affecting UR whole body! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Sciatica: Pain in the distribution as you suggested describes the pattern of the nerve that travels in the leg called the sciatic nerve. The sciatic nerve is not the cause of the pain source, it is the result of an irritated nerve typically in the lumbar spine (low back) which are caused by herniated disks, spinal stenosis or degenerative disc disease requiring further evaluation by a spine specialist. ...Read more

44 year-old female with a history of DVT and stroke; on Warfarin daily now with right leg swelling and bilateral leg pain.....?
Need good ultrasound study and a cardiac echo: Was there a reason found for the stroke? A clot in the leg may travel to the lung, but should not normally be able to get to the brain. The most likely reason it did is a defect in the heart. An echocardiogram will help sort the heart out, and can guide a repair. A good ultrasound of the legs is necessary to see if there is a recurrent clot. If not, another consideration is Post-Thrombotic Syndrome - failure o the valves in the leg veins from scarring after DVT. Patients with DVT need to wear compression hose daily for at least 2 yrs after DVT to minimize the risk of PTS. ...Read moreSee 10 more doctor answers
I have factor v leiden and the past two days I've been having leg pain minimum swelling and now chest pains when I raise my arms. When to go to dr??
Risk of clots: Factor V Leiden is associated with an increased risk of blood clots. Is the minimal swelling and leg pain in one leg (calf) or in both legs? Any shortness of breath? If your leg and chest pains are bilateral and there is no shortness of breath you are probably fine. If the leg pain/swelling is unilateral and you are short of breath you should be seen by a physician today. ...Read more
Was taking Lyrica @ 600mg per day for around two years for idiopathic leg pain. Reduced down as leg pain gone but since tapering off have had pain in forearms and hands. Finished Lyrica two days ago and now in a lot of pain. (Arms) Could this be wd?
Suggestions: Am rather unclear as to validity of term "idiopathic leg pain", as there is always a cause. Fact that the Lyrica (pregabalin) helped suggests your correct diagnosis is a peripheral neuropathy, which needs evaluation. Highly recommend a second opinion. Suspect you are correct about your Lyrica (pregabalin). ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

29 month old toddler has been complaining of arm, wrist &leg pain for the last 2 months. She's still active but doesn't like to be touched what's wrong?
Joint pains?: You need to have your toddler thoroughly examined to find out the cause of her aches and pains. If this is associated with warm and swollen joint areas, fever, with some + blood tests and X-rays, I could make a diagnosis of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, but this could just as easily be an active toddler that is a bit clumsy and bumps into things. So, go see your pediatrician for more answers ...Read more
