For the past few days I had chest pain on left side and under armpit. It goes away and comes back. And doesn't seem to be getting worse at all. ?

Multiple causes: There is no age listed which could help a bit in differentiating cardiac pain from muscle ache. I think no matter what you should see a doctor get a chest x ray as well these can come from a number of causes. CP...yes!: To me, CP is CP until otherwise ruled-out (for a heart attack). If you haven't seen your md & had an ekg, do it! women present differently than men. Pains: Pains in that area, if Sharp,shooting,fleeting,aggravated by a deep breath could be a pinched intercostal nerve or muscle irritability. Other possibilities include rib cage strain if the area is tender. Any history of injury? Lung pathology is unlikely without an associated cough. More info: There are many things that can give you those symptoms. When do you get pain? What type? How long does it last? Anything make it better? Anything make it worse? Does food affect the pain? I don't have chest pain in my left side really. I've had more pain in my right side than on the left. It's just a discomfort that goes from the left side of the chest to my armpit and it feels like something is in there.
Your description is: not typical for cardiac issues and your young age would argue against this as well however there are quite a few potential diagnoses both life threatening and or benign that could explain your symptoms.
