A few ideas: It sounds like there could be other reasons for your lack of menses. #1 reason would be a hormonal imbalance. Other reasons could include thyroid or pituitary problems. Often women miss cycles due to weight (being too thin or too heavy, too little or too much estrogen). Clear mucous is normal. Back pain could be musculoskeletal, your kidneys, or endometriosis. Yes: though of course it is evolutionarily programmed to help you through childbirth by working specifically on the pelvic ligaments. However, you are probably at increased risk for sprains etc. during this time period, both for this reason and because your balance may be somewhat off. So be careful! I would certainly avoid backbends specifically and use extra care in any exercise regimen. ...Read more
