Can a ovarian cyst on the right ovary (5cm)cause pain in the left pelvic area, along with back pain? It feels like severe menstrual cramps on left sid

Right side pain radiating around to back with tailbone pain, post menopausal with occasional spotting. History of chocolate cysts on right ovary.
See your Gyn: Cikan, something is going on. It may or may not have anything to do with the prior ovary/cyst problem, but you are not supposed to have spotting after menopause. So please see your gynecologist as soon as you can and get an examination and an explanation or more testing. Good luck! ...Read more

Nabothian cyst in cervix, 2.1cm cyst in right ovary. History of uterine polyp.
Pain in left lower abdomen15dys, lower back pain+no period-what is it?
Multiple issues: Nabothian cysts are normal as is (probably) the rt ovarian cyst. The uterine polyp is more worrisome and should be followed (with ultrasound) to make sure it doesn't get bigger. The lack of periods could be related to pregnancy, hormonal imbalances or low body fat/athletic activity. The back pain can certainly come from the pelvic issues or can be the spine itself. Gyn eval 1st then spine eval. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Had cervical cryotherapy and have been experiencing severe pelvic pain that comes and goes in the area of my ovarian cyst with mild itching. Normal?
No : But not sure if it is due to the cryotherapy or not. If the pain is more to the side it could be referred pain from your uterus, or ovarian pain - if there is a cyst or anything. It is possible that you could have a postprocedural infection (but those typically occur within 1-2 weeks of the procedure). Fever may b asign of that. If the cryotherapy caused scarring that wont let menses pass=pain. ...Read more

Schedule follow up: See you Obgyn first to get an opinion about the ovarian cysts. Typically cysts this size can be monitored as they usually will go away. Could recovery from left ovary and fallopian tube removal cause pain in the left side of the rectum, with no pain during bowel movement and no blood?
Could?: Almost anything 'could' happen. The question is how you know the pain is rectal and not perirectal or radiating from some other area. You should go back and allow the surgeon who did the procedure reevaluate you and find a satisfactory answer to your problem. Hope you feel better soon. Must be very disturbing. ...Read more

1 week of on off sharp pain in left ovary and lower back pain with occasional white clear discharge. Started mini bc pill 4 days ago. What is it?
Pain and discharge: Possibly a pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). It is an infection of the female reproductive organs. It usually occurs when sexually transmitted bacteria spread from vagina to uterus, fallopian tubes or ovaries. Often times women either experience no signs or symptoms or don't seek treatment. Consultation with your doctor for evaluation and treatment is warranted. ...Read more
Pain in right pelvic area and lower right back, brown discharge instead period, what can it be? Had left ovary removed 7 years ago due to a benign cys
I have this green gooey discharge. It doesn't have an awful smell. My papsmear says normal but my ultrasound says I have a small cyst in my left ovary?
Evaluate the dischar: Although a greenish color is not typically associated with a vaginal infection, chances are that is what you are experiencing. In the absence of pregnancy, a significant abnormality of the cervix or the uterus ( consider an ultrasound and a colposcopy - closer viewing of your cervix), it is most likely an infection that needs treatment. Hopefully you are seeing your gyn. Good luck. ...Read more
Hi. Once a month my left ovary feels heavy and I get this intense pain. When I get the pain my discharge has a bit of blood in it.is this normal? A while back my gp said it could just be ovulation
I have a hemorrhagic cyst on my left ovary. It has not ruptured. I have a thick white discharge that has tested negative for yeast. Normal with cyst?
Unrelated: Discharge isn't really related to cysts. If you have a hemoraghic cyst you are probably in the luteal phase of your menstrual cycle (the second half of the monthly cycle), and cervical mucous can be thicker at that point in the cycle. If there is itching or burning or bad smell, its not related at all and you should see your doc to better figure it out. ...Read more
I have abnormal mucus-like discharge, bloated in my lower stomach, have swelling on lower left ovary area, tired, feel bloated all over, what could it be?
See a doctor: This would require a doctor to check out. Some problems, such as bacterial vaginosis can cause cramping of the uterus, vaginal discharge with a fishy odor and possibly bloating. It is easily treated by a doctor. Irritable bowel syndrome can cause bloating and abdominal cramps. In either case, this constellation of symptoms could have several causes and is worthy of a doctors visit. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My vagina smells like plastic & I've had a pain inside (left side) for a couple days. White discharge. & yesterday I felt a movement on left ovary!?
Hello there, I have a 28-30 day cycle is it normal to ovulate on day 10. Cramps on left ovary with watery & white discharge miscarriage 9 mon ago. Thx?
No: Ovulation usually occurs 14 days before your next period. In a 28-30 day cycle this would be day 14-16. The cramping and watery white discharge may mean there is something else going on. If it continues, it would be a good idea to see your PCP or gynecologist to have it checked out. Hope this helps. ...Read more
I seem to have thrush but i also have lower tummy pain, blood stained discharge and my left ovary is hurting especially when i cough?
Go for major dx: A UTI can cause lower and discomfort and may be part of the picture. The discharge may be incidental but there is a chance you have an infection of the uterus. Thrush is an oral candida infection and likely not related to this but i think u need to get seen. I place my bet on a uti, but not there to examine so don't give it too much weight. Also, do a upt. ...Read more

I have 12cm simple left ovarian cyst.I have brownish discharge coming out before my period, sharp pain, burning sensation in left ovary, did it rapture?
Possibly: Sometimes ovarian cysts rupture and women know it, sometimes it's painless. I don't think the discharge is affected by or is affecting the cyst. At 12 cm i would also keep torsion or twisting of the cyst in back of my mind. Watch out for roller coasters or going upside down. Hope that helps! ...Read more
Why does my left ovary hurt a day after ovulation? I had unprotected sex 6 days before ovulation, a day before and the day of. im also bloated and more tired than usual. I'm discharging a milky white too.
Pregnancy test: I'm not exactly sure the question your asking. But you had unprotected sex during the most fertile time of your cycle and are now having symptoms of pregnancy. In your case a pregnancy test is order first. I'm pretty sure you realize that, but needed to hear it. In your case I'm not sure if you are actually asking about the pain many women have at ovulation, but can be answered after preg test ...Read more

Hard to say: Maybe impossible to say; pain in the left pelvis may have been from an ovary, but it's impossible to say for sure as several things can cause pain in the same area as the ovary. A bump that disappeared (and was visible) would definitely not have been from the ovary, b/c any 'bumps' on the ovary wouldn't have been 'visible' and would also be hard to palpate through the abdominal wall unless was big. ...Read more
Just started last night experiencing pain in left ovary when coughing. I JUST started treatment for vaginismus. Can I wait to get it checked?
Could be either: Hard to say without doing a pelvic exam and taking a more detailed history, including why you had your right ovary removed. I would suggest seeing your doctor for evaluation if the pain continues. Pelvic ultrasound may be a good idea to see if there is an obvious answer to your pain. Also need to consider whether you are around the time of ovulation (around day 14 of your cycle). Good luck! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
